Water rail looks very beautiful. Orange color beaks are attractive.

The water rail looks like our local chickens but the water rail is smaller and slimmer in size. The orange eye and beak stand out very well. Enjoy your holiday, Noushka.

Hi Noushka.

Beautiful pictures you've made from the water rail.

Striking beauty, Noushka! The stalker with the orange-rimmed eyes and sharp orange beak must strike fear in its prey. When I see these photos, it's not hard to imagine the dinosaurs that birds evolved from. One of the biggest thrills I have ever had was seeing the stunning archaeopteryx fossils at the British Museum, those feathers preserved in rocks. Safe travels, my friend! And hugs!

Beautifull images, Noushka. You did extremely well to catch this bird out in the open. If I see one it's usually lurking in reeds, half hidden and only pos out for a few seconds.

I hope you're having a wonderful time whilst away - - - - Richard
