Les oiseaux continuent de s'accoupler, même lorsqu’ils ont des œufs ou des petits, mais ce sont souvent de faux accouplements pour resserrer leurs liens affectifs. Ceci n'est qu'une partie de leur comportement: dans une publication ultérieure, vous verrez les nouveaux-nés et plus tard à quel point ces échasses sont agressives quand elles protègent leurs couvées et n'ont peur de rien!

Even if they have eggs or young
, birds go on coupling but most of the time they are false matings to tighten their bond. This is only part of their story: in upcoming publications you will see newborn chicks and how aggressive and fearless the species can be when breeding!

  9. One day I hope to see these birds as well. They facinate me with their long leggs and slender beaks. Such amazing captures of their behavior, its a joy to watch Noushka.

    Encore une série de grande qualité avec des comportement intéressants à observer et à photographier. La netteté est toujours irréprochable pour immortaliser cette belle scène. L'histoire de resserrer les liens affectifs est une bonne excuse, tiens il va falloir que j'essaye cette méthode.
