Quelques guêpiers africains

Merops oreobates

Here are the few bee-eater species I was lucky to photograph so far this year in Africa during my 3 trips: Uganda, Kenya and Botswana
The flagship species here is the Cinnamon-chested bee-eater.

Merops albicollis
UGANDA, botanical gardens of Entebbe

Guêpier à gorge blanche - White-throated bee-eater

Les mêmes au KENYA, Baringo:
The same species at Baringo, KENYA

Merops oreobates

Cinnamon-chested bee-eater
The species is found in altitude between 1800 and 2300 m

Northern Carmine bee-eater
The whole head is turquoise unlike the Southern carmine which has only the top of the head turquoise.

  9. Bonsoir Carine,
