Il est appelé "rapiète" dans le Sud-Ouest de la France.
J'ai vu cet individu, probablement une femelle au vu de son abdomen rebondi!, en rentrant de ma promenade, attraper un gros Bourdon terrestre et le frapper contre la pierre comme le ferait un Martin pêcheur avec son poisson!
Hélas, l'APN était rangé mais j'ai pu m'éloigner pour le remettre en marche et faire ces photos. Ils sont toujours fascinants à observer, surtout qu'ils vivent tout autour de nous, dans les moindres recoins caillouteux ou bois mort:
Common Wall lizard: I saw this individual, probably a female considering its plump belly!, on my way back from my walk: it had caught a large Bumblebee and was hitting it against the stone as would do a King Fisher with a fish! Regrettably, the APN was tidied up but I was able to go away to restart him(it) and make these photos. They are always fascinating to observe, especially that they live everything around us, in the slightest rocky hidden recesses or the dead wood:

Celui-ci s'est laissé approcher de très près, heureusement, et l'intérêt de cet individu c'est cette belle rangée d'écailles bleues attirantes et assez rares, sur le flanc:
