Coccinelle à 7 points

Coccinella septempunctata

La plus commune des Coccinelles en Europe!
Se régale principalement de pucerons et donc très utile surtout dans les jardins de roses!
On l'appelle aussi bête à bon Dieu!
Ici, elle inspecte le Mahonia.

Feeds essentially on aphids, therefor very useful in rose gardens!

In the Middle Ages it was known as the "beetle of Our Lady" since the Virgin Mary
was often represented wearing a red cloak in religious paintings.
The seven-spots symbolize seven joys and seven sorrows.
