Lovely photos, and they made me smile, especially the last photo, where he has one eye open! The second photo is the jewel in the crown,... never mind the droopy ears, those eyes are fabulous!! Incidentally your eyes must be pretty good to see the Long-eared Owl in the first place, as at a distance he could almost be a limb of the tree. Well spotted!!

RépondreSupprimerAs you know, owls are my favourites, and if I'd ever managed a photo of a LEO (or any other owl, for that matter) as good as this it'd make my year! I don't know about LEOs in your neck of the woods, but in these parts they are rather difficult to find as they are usually hidden away in dense thickets and are also, therefore, very difficult to photograph.

RépondreSupprimerHere I am quite jealous as Noushka. I love owls really lovely nice to see but in the wild or wild I never actually meet them against. Once seen eared owls and other owls should I visit the zoo. Did you gefotografeert this owl in the wild? Really super nice!
