Cervus elaphusDu haut des falaises où j'ai pu enfin photographier le Tichodrome échelette grâce à mon amie Monique, nous avons aperçu des points sombres dans les prés aux abords des bois. Nous décidons d'aller voir de plus près et effet une harde de cerfs en "habits" sombres d'hiver était de sortie. Au volant de la voiture, souvent le moteur encore en marche, j'ai pris ces photos avec le Nikkor 800 mm f5/6, pas une mince affaire!!

peut le remarquer, les cerfs n'ont plus de beaux bois et pour cause...
La chasse aux trophées fait des dégâts dans ces populations car elle est
si sélective que les beaux reproducteurs n'ont plus le temps de se
constituer un cheptel de biches afin transmettre leurs gènes aux
générations futures et ce sont les avortons qui à présent qui les
transmettent... vive les "plus grands défenseurs" de la nature.
Du coup j'ai presque honte de vous présenter de tels animaux....😢
A herd of stags
From the cliffs where I was finally able to photograph the Wallcreeper, thanks to my friend Monique, we saw dark spots in the meadows down below near the woods. We decided to go and have a closer look and sure enough a herd of deer in their dark winter hair was grazing.
From behind the wheel, often with the engine still running, I took these photos with the Nikkor 800 mm F5/6, not very easy!
As one can see, many stags show antlers abnormalities now since the hunters kull the best to sell as trophies. This new kind of hunt prevent the best males to gather a good and healthy herd to pass on their genes and only the runt now pass on theirs.

Ils vont bientôt perdre ces vilains bois mais il y a peu de chances pour qu'ils repoussent beaucoup mieux.
They will loose their antlers soon but there is little chance they will regrow into decent ones.

A droite, cette "tête bizarde" a non seulement un bois cassé mais 2 petits andouillers qui poussent... sous la meule:
How sad that some people still think it is 'fun' to kill such magnificent creatures. They must be sick in the head. If it's antlers they want, why not wait until they have been shed naturally? Your wonderful images, Carine, serve as yet another reminder that there are too many evil people out there.

Coucou chère fée de la nature. Quelle tristesse cette chasse aux trophées et nous sommes tout de même au 21ème siècle, cela ne devrait plus exister. Mais ne regrette pas de nous montrer ces magnifiques animaux même si leurs cornes sont moins jolies, ce n'est pas de ta faute. Une belle rencontre et beaucoup de mérite de les prendre de la voiture.

ça va finir que l'on aura plus que des dégénérés , c'est sûr qu'il faut des mâles robustes et forts pour les gênes mais comment expliquer cela des abrutis

RépondreSupprimerI never heard of this kind of hunting before. It is a shame that it is allowed to kill the best stags. As long as money or great trophies are involved it has a bad influence upon the quality of wildlife.

They are gorgeous. Lovely sight to find! Antler hunting season is on us..... our snow is so deep, it would be hard to find them here. These look very similar to our elk. Kind a mix of deer and elk.
RépondreSupprimerThe deer are magnificent, Noushka, even if some of them have abnormal antlers. I'm thinking perhaps that your real name is Carine??? I have mixed feeling about hunters. It's one thing to kill an animal for meat, and quite another to kill one simply to get a rack to display. I never tire of seeing deer.
