Utterly disgusted and very angry by the stag shooting in the Pyrenees at the rut season, I jumped in a plane to spend a weekend in Richmond, London, to see and admire the Red deer in this huge 1200 hectares area.
I discovered magnificent animals, focused in this period on protecting their doe harem against potential competitors and the passage of their genes to subsequent generations.
The bellowing can be heard from quite a distance away.
