Cormoran africain

Microcarbo africanus

C'est un petit cormoran de 50 à 55 cm de long et d'une envergure de 85 cm. Sa queue est longue, sa crête courte et son œil rouge.
Commun en Afrique australe, on le recontre sur le lac de Baringo au Kenya.

Reed cormorant
Widespread in southern Africa, I saw quite a few on the lake of Baringo in Kenya. 
It  is a small cormorant at 50–55 cm length and an 85 cm wingspan. It can dive to considerable depths but usually feeds in shallow water.
