Dendropicos fuscescens

Ces deux oiseaux sont des résidents communs de l'Afrique sub-saharienne; on les trouve dans un grand éventail d'habitats, savanne ouverte, broussailles et parties boisées clairsemées avec présence d'acacias et d'euphorbes.
 

Both birds are common residents and breed in much of Sub-Saharan Africa; they can be found in a wide range of habitats: open savannah woodland, especially with Acacia and Euphorbia, bushy areas and scrub.
