Les voici donc ces magnifiques Montagnes, qui font partie du Patrimoine Mondial de l'Humanité depuis 2000, et dont le nom vient de l'effet bleuté créé par l'évaporation des particules d'essence des Eucalyptus qui forment une grande partie de la végétation sauvage. C'est un immense ensemble de Parcs Nationaux dans lesquels il reste encore quelques petits groupes Koalas sauvages. Il peut y faire assez frais et le temps peut changer assez rapidement. Ces montagnes se situent à l'est de l'Australie, du nord au sud, à une bonne cinquantaine de kilomètres de la côte.
The magnificent Blue Mountains is part of World Heritage Site since 2000 and consists of several National Parks, a huge area dedicated to Nature conservation. Their name comes from the haze effect created by the bluish mist, particles evaporating from the Eucalyptus trees. These represent a large portion of the wild vegetation in which there still are a few groups of wild Koalas left. The climate can be rather fresh and the weather can change very quickly. These mountains are situated east of Australia from north to south, and are situated approximately 50 km from the coast.
