European bee-eaters
The weather was dull and close to rain on the first day of my July week in Spain but we decided nonetheless to set up our hide tents in the Catalan brush and try our luck.

With this dull light, it was difficult to have crisp images when the birds were moving!
The poor guy... he has waited 20 minutes for Her return with his offering and she comes back with her own snack, a flop! LOL!

RépondreSupprimerHi Noushka, wonderful images of the bee-eaters, we have some not far from us at the moment and they do appear to be moving much farther North than previous. All the best, John

I wonder the bee-eaters are so colorful like flowers to attract bees? Your provocative posts always leave me with questions!
