Milvus milvusAccipitriformes - Accipitridae
La plupart d'entre vous sont déjà familiers avec ces rapaces, sur ce blog.
Chaque hiver nous leur apportons un complément de nourriture 2 fois par semaine pour 3 raisons:
1.) Ce groupe d'une
quinzaine d'individus environ - qui niche dans les régions plus au nord
(comme en Allemagne, Autriche ou Suisse, etc...) - passe donc l'hiver dans
de meilleures conditions, particulièrement dans les périodes de plus grand
froid.
2.) L'an dernier nous avons pu observer un oiseau avec les ailes taguées. Ayant fait remonter l'info à la LPO, Antoine Guyonnet m'avait répondu gracieusement que c'était un jeune de 11mois et qu'il avait été tagué en Allemagne. Ceux que cela intéresse peuvent lire l'article [ICI...]. D'autre part, il est arrivé également de pouvoir aider un Milan royal handicapé à qui il manquait la patte gauche. Red kites

Indeed every year we help this group of about fifteen individuals twice a week, nesting in northern regions such as in Germany, Austria or Switzerland, etc...), to spend the winter in good conditions, particularly during cold spells.
Last year we were able to observe a Red kite with tagged wings. Getting the info to the LPO, one of the french nature protection organizations, I got the info back that the bird had been tagged in Germany and that is was 11month old. Those whom it interests can read the article.
