Grands oiseaux aquatiques et Sarcelle d'hiver

Même si les migrateurs ne sont pas passés lorsque j'y étais, il y a toujours des images à faire au Teich et l'arrivée des oies et des canards est un spectacle autrement plus sympathique que beaucoup de programmes télés 'à la noix de coco'!! Sur les 4 premières images, les oiseaux sont à environ 130 à 150 m de distance.

Large aquatic birds and ducks

Even if the migratory species hardly ever flew in when I was on the Atlantic shore there are always pictures to shoot at the Arcachon bird preserve  and the arrival of ducks, geese and herons is a show otherwise more interesting than rinky-dink TV programs!! On the first 4 pics, the birds are between 130 to 150 m away.

Au loin par temps gris, ce qui semble une curieuse frénésie... ces oiseaux se lancent dans ce ballet quand elles pêchent, ce qui fait remonter les poissons sous la surface.


In the distance, a Great egret gets into what seems a frenzy but they do it when fishing: it brings the fish to move up towards the surface:

Ces photos datent de  et été comme on peut le voir par la végétation. Cette espèce a été si prolifique cette année que je voyais des individus où que je me trouve dans la nature, surtout dans les sureaux.

These pics date back to this summer as one can see by the green vegetation. This species has been so successful this year that wherever I was taking pics in nature, there were individual around me! At the end of summer they will be easily found in and around  elderberry bushes.
