chatou
Wow, the flamingos are gorgeous, Noushka! That female must have very strong spindly legs! You've gotten so many amazing photos from Camargue. I finally had time to look it up this morning. What an ideal place to photograph birds: on the largest river delta in western Europe, wrapped between the two arms of the Rhone River. I always thought that ètang meant island, because I used to map in an area that looked out over a Grand Ètang island on the coast of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Now I know it means a brine lagoon. I never saw any flamingos flying in though, because it would be too cold for them. I read Camargue has ferocious mosquitos, so I'm truly impressed with your patient ability to spend hours very still to get a shot! Have a great start to your week!
Wow!!! A beauty.. Cheers..
